Prof. G P Sinha Centre for Disaster Management and Rural Development (GPSCDMRD) is an effort to make a society that is aware of disasters and can take on to the related challenges. The Centre engages itself in activities which may help in minimizing the damages caused by disasters.
GPSCRMRD also undertakes activities to empower, without any financial incumbency, socially and economically deprived rural and urban people through literacy, education, self income generation schemes, Skill development, professional training and overall awareness building programmes.
